Corps member arrested for stealing Okada in Osun

Men of the Osun State Police Command have arrested a national youth corps member identified as Adebisi Kazeem (26) for allegedly stealing a Bajaj motorcycle otherwise called Okada.
The offence was committed in Agunbelewo area of Osogbo, the state capital, on Thursday.
The suspect attached to Saint John Middle School, Iree,  is a graduate of Kwara State Polytechnic. He was said to have confessed to the offence.
The state Police Commissioner, Mrs. Dorothy Gimba, according to the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Folasade Odoro, confirmed the incident, adding that the command has begun investigation into the matter.
She explained that the suspect would appear in court immediately after the investigation.
According to her, “one Oladeji Oyewole lodged complaint at the Estate Police Station that he parked his Bajaj motorcycle at a football show centre but when he came out, the motorcycle was nowhere to be found. Police detectives attached to Dada Estate immediately swung into action and while on surveillance for the machine with the owner, it was sighted at Fan milk, Dada Estate area.
“Adebisi Kazeem ‘m’ aged 26, who claimed to be a youth corps member attached to St. John Middle School, Iree, who graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic, suddenly jumped on the machine and was about to start it when he was apprehended.”
Adebisi confessed to the crime, adding that he wanted to ride it to his place of work. He said this is the first time he has stolen.
