What Corps members should do when their allowances were not paid?

Many Corps members have been asking what to do?  And how to request for non-payment of allowances when they were not paid at the end of the month? I have been telling them the procedure is like ABC.
When you are not paid at the end of the month First and foremost, find out from the Accounts unit at the NYSC State secretariat why you are not paid. If it was not something to do with Disciplinary measure, then it should be error and your problem is half solved. In that case you have to apply to the State Coordinator of NYSC in your State and request for the payment. The application should be made through your Local Government Inspector (LGI) and your employer who will endorse that you worked for the month. Your LGI should particularly photocopy the page where you signed for monthly clearance as evidence. If this procedure is followed, you will be paid without delay.
On the other hand, if your case is disciplinary, it would be a little more complicated. This is because there case would be referred to Corps Discipline and Reward branch for determination. If you are sure you have a just cause ( i.e)  you have done what you are suppose to do, you were at your at your place –of-primary assignment and discharged your duties as expected, you have nothing to fear. But if you on the other hand failed in your responsibilities, I am afraid; NYSC has a policy of No Work No Pay.
At any rate, contact the Assistant Director in charge of Discipline and Reward in your State, to exonerate yourself and get paid.
Please do not hesitate to make a comment , with regard to the above.
