THE Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier-General Johnson Olawumi weekend said the Corps would  set up Ebola Virus Disease, EVD, screening centres in orientation camps across the country to check the spread of the dreaded EVD.

He said already, the corps had taken measures to ensure the safety of the corp members and staff of the organisation during the orientation camps programme.

The NYSC DG was in Akure, Ondo state capital for the inauguration of the NYSC/State governments collaboration on monthly environmental exercise

According to him, the corps was determined to ensure that corps members deployed to various states of the country were free from the deadly virus.

How to Download NYSC App in your Smart phone

IMPORTANT NOTE : Be sure you have a good quality Internet connectivity or better still use a Wi-Fi connection. Also your Google or Windows or Apple or Blackberry ID (as the case may be) must be configured with the mobile phone before proceeding with the following steps.

3) Blackberry Version :
All Blackberry 10 users can now download and enjoy the NYSC MOBILE APP.
Step:
i) Just Visit the app website: www.nyscmobile.org and click the "Blackberry Version" button...It shows the application description page.
Just click install and that's all

ii) From the browser of your blackberry, just click http://tinyurl.com/lzt77bd . The application comes up, you can install seamlessly and enjoy.

NYSC 2014 Batch ‘C’ Service:

ONLINE REGISTRATION OF LOCAL AND FOREIGN-TRAINED NIGERIAN PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS AND PRINTING OF CALL-UP LETTERS

NYSC has commenced Online registration of prospective  Nigerian graduates (both foreign and locally trained) for 2014 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation exercise. All my readers are to note that all  mobilisation processes will be online. Below are the procedure and necessary information:

 

All Prospective Corps Members are required to register online at the NYSC portal, www.nysc.org.ng or portal.nysc.gov.ng or go to www.nysc.gov.ng to link the portal.  Please note that information on accredited registration centres nationwide is available on the home page www.nysc.org.ng.

All graduates from Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics/Monotechnics and those affiliated to them (whether full-time or part-time) are expected to carry out their biometric-enabled online registration using their Matriculation Numbers and JAMB Registration Numbers.  Also, those for Revalidation (i.e. prospective corps members who were mobilized earlier but for one reason or the other could not report for the orientation course) must equally register online.

All prospective corps members are to register online.  Those who wish to get their Call-up numbers by SMS/email and subsequently print their Call-up letters online are to pay the sum of Four Thousand Naira (₦4,000.00) using any Bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Cards or the PIN Vending option from any bank in Nigeria. 

The feature allows them to print and reprint their call-up letters online in case of loss of call-up letters and also facilitates accelerated camp processing at the Orientation camps.

However, those who wish to collect their call-up letters from their Institution need not pay the Four Thousand Naira (₦4,000.00) after the online registration.  Meanwhile, members of the public should know that with effect from 2015 Batch ‘A’ all prospective Corps members have to print their Call-up letters online.

The online registration for NYSC 2014 Batch ‘C’ service  commenced on the 20^th August 2014 and will end on 12^th October 2014.
